That is band 5 on the new 1–6 scale.
There is no conversion and no weighting: each section is scored 0–30 and the total is the sum, 0–120. That makes TOEFL unusual — with IELTS you convert raw marks to a band, and with PTE the score comes out of an algorithm you cannot reproduce by hand. Here, addition is the whole calculation.
ETS introduced a 1–6 band scale on 21 January 2026 and reports it alongside the 0–120 total. Both appear until January 2028, after which only the band remains. A calculator that gives you only the total is already going out of date, which is why the band is shown here.
